Once you have Redactor installed follow these steps to activate:

Redactor DesktopRedactor Server

1. Open the Redactor application
2. On the first launch of the application, you will be prompted to activate by entering a serial number. The host computer must be connected to the Internet as this serial number will be validated by a license server. Following a successful activation the application will be unlocked for use with permissions specified by the serial number, whether an evaluation or a paid license.

1. Open a web browser and navigate to http://localhost:9000/admin
2. Configure authentication (Local or LDAP)
3. Activate serial number(s) on server
4. Click the Redactor button at the top-right to leave the Administration page.
